- Purchase certified nursery plants from nurseries registered with the state. If you purchase plants from a mobile vendor or flea market, ask to see their license. Report any questionable operations to the Division of Plant Industry Helpline 1-800-282-5153. Your cooperation is need to help stop the spread of citrus pests and diseases.
- Movement of citrus plants or plant parts into or out of Florida is prohibited. You may move certified citrus plants within Florida if purchased at a registered nursery.
- It is unlawful for homeowners to propagate (raise) citrus plants.
